Glass has been used in the decoration of buildings for a thousand years. Glass tiles are becoming very popular in the home as they bring depth, luminescence & character to any project.

Durability

As with all glass products, glass tiles can be scratched. Country Custom Tile recommends that care is taken in the installation and that glass tiles are not put in high-risk areas for scratching.

Installation

Due to the transparent nature of most glass tiles, an even application of white adhesive is recommended. Failure to this can lead to the adhesive being visible through the tile in certain lights.

Particular care should be taken when to use the correct grout. Coloured grouts are not recommended, unless specified suitable for use with glass tiles. For more help and advice on installation, please contact us and we will be more than happy to help answer all of your questions.
