Found Country Custom Tile through the internet. The estimate was extremely detailed. Ricky Hersey does not sell tile. The customer supplies all the materials. Ricky Hersey helped with every step of the purchase process once we decided to go with his company. He really provided a tremendous amount of objective guidance. This actually worked out best for us as I new I was getting the best deal possible on tile and materials as I was buying directly from the source ( Floor And Decor, Home Depot , Lowes Etc). Ricky Was very promptevery day. The tear out process was actually cleaner than expected. They made runs to the dump each day so the discarded material did not accumulate. Ricky was very upfront that the concrete sub-floor might need some prep work before he even started the tear out. After the tear-out there were several uneven areas of concrete. He was very thorough, apply filler membrane then floated mortar. He always notified me and provided clear estimate of costs before proceeding with any extra work that arose. Rickey was very flexible as my wife and I made several small changes through various parts of the job. We were very satisfied with the final product and the price that we paid. Through Rickey I feel that I made significant savings on the raw materials (tile, mortar, etc.) than I would have if I had gone through someone who sells their own tile.
